The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) on September 10, 2025, issued Corrigendum on Simplified scheme of auto-renewal of Consents based on Self-declaration submitted by the industries for Red, Orange, Green & Blue Categories.
The following corrigendum is issued to the Circular dated August 13, 2025:
• The simplified scheme of Auto Renewal of consents is applicable for Auto Renewal of Consent to Operate & Revalidation of Consent to Establish (Revalidation of consent to Establish for industries not attracting EIA Notification, 2006).
• The scheme is applicable for Red, Orange, Green & Blue category industries, subject compliance with consent conditions and environmental norms.
• Increase in capital investment up to 30% only, due to infrastructure/clean technology/pollution control systems - shall be eligible under Auto Renewal with payment of differential fees.
• Increase in capital investment above 30% or decrease in capital investment are not eligible for simplified Auto Renewal.
• Draft Self-declaration (Annexure-A) is amended as enclosed herewith.
• All other conditions in Circular dated 13/08/2025 shall remain unchanged.
