The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on September 12, 2025, notified to discontinue Remisiers as a market intermediary registered on the Exchange.
It has been decided to discontinue with Remisier as a market intermediary registered with the Exchange. The details are as follows:
• The registered Remisiers shall have time till December 31, 2025, to migrate as an AP by obtaining segment wise registration with the Exchange as AP and apply for surrender of Remisier registration. The processing fee for AP registration shall be applicable. The Exchange shall not levy processing fee towards cancellation of Remisier registration.
• The Remisiers who do not choose to migrate as an AP, shall be deemed to have surrendered their registration with the Exchange w.e.f. January 1, 2026. Consequent upon deemed surrender, the certificate of registration granted to the Remisier shall stand withdrawn on the Exchange.
• No fresh registration shall be granted as Remisier from the date of issuance of this notice.
• Any pending applications for Remisier registration shall be returned by the Exchange.
