Industry Specific ComplianceThe Department of Industries, Energy, Labour & Mining, Govt. of Maharashtra on September 25, 2025, notified regarding making the necessary amendments in the Public Procurement Scheme, 2019, as per the criteria laid down in the Integrated and Sustainable Textile Policy, 2023–28.

The Government has aligned the Common Incentive Scheme 2019 with the Integrated and Sustainable Textile Policy 2023–28. Under this, textile projects with fixed capital investment above ₹100 crore or creating at least 1,000 jobs (new or expansion) will be recognized as Mega (Large) Projects and made eligible for incentives. These revised criteria will apply specifically to textile sector projects, ensuring higher investment and employment generation.
