The Housing and Urban Development Department, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, on October 10, 2025, amended the Tamil Nadu Combined Development and Building Rules, 2019.
The following amendment has been stated namely: -
• In Annexure- IV, PART-I, under the heading “1.Residential”, the Note thereunder, item-5 shall be substituted as below: “5. In the case of an individual house with single dwelling unit upto 300 sq.m., in a plot, parking spaces shall be provided subject to a maximum of 2 car spaces and 2 two-wheeler spaces; and if the area exceeds 300 sq.m., a maximum of 4 car spaces and 4 two-wheeler spaces shall be provided.”
