The Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) on November 01, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Dearness Allowance for Workmen and Officer Employees in banks for the months of November, December 2025 and January 2026 under XI BPS/ 8th Joint Note dated November 11, 2020.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The confirmed All India Average Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (Base 1960-100) for the quarter ended September 2025 are as follows: -
o July 2025 - 9630.70
o August 2025 - 9670.15
o September 2025 - 9683.29
• The average CPI of the above is 9661.38 and accordingly the number of DA slabs are 827 (9661.38-6352-3309.38/4827 slabs).
• The rate of Dearness Allowance payable to Workmen and Officer employees for the months of November, December 2025 and January 2026 shall be 57.89% of 'pay'.
