The Indian Nursing Council (INC) on November 18, 2025, issued a notification regarding reservation for Foreign Students.
The following has been stated: -
•The INC clarifies that institutions with 60 or fewer seats in GNM and B.Sc.(N) may allot 10% supernumerary seats for foreign students, while those with 100 or more seats and a 300-bedded parent hospital may allot 25%.
•These provisions apply only to institutions found suitable under Sections 13 & 14 of the INC Act, 1947.
•Supernumerary foreign student seats cannot be converted into general or other quotas.
•All such admissions must be uploaded to the NRTS Nursing Admission Module for yearly tracking.
