The Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of Gujarat on February 11, 2025, issued the Gujarat Global Capability Center (GCC) Policy (2025-30).
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Policy aims to position Gujarat as a leading hub for multinational capability centers by promoting investment, innovation, and high-skilled job creation.
• The policy targets 250 new GCC units, ₹10,000 crore investment, and over 50,000 new jobs, supported through CAPEX and OPEX incentives, interest subsidies, electricity duty exemptions, and employment-linked financial support.
• It also offers special benefits for skill development, research, patents, and global quality certifications.
• The policy emphasizes digital transformation, robust infrastructure, ease of business, and alignment with the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision, with implementation overseen by a State-Level Empowered Committee.
