The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) on December 12, 2025, issued a notification regarding the approved MSP for Copra for the 2026 Season.
The following has been stated: -
•The CCEA has approved the MSP for copra for the 2026 season, fixing it at ₹12,027/quintal for milling copra and ₹12,500/quintal for ball copra, in line with the policy of 1.5 times the cost of production.
•The MSP is higher than the previous season by ₹445 for milling copra and ₹400 for ball copra, marking a rise of over 127% since 2014.
•This enhanced MSP aims to improve farmer incomes and encourage higher copra production to meet rising demand.
•NAFED and NCCF will continue as Central Nodal Agencies for copra procurement under the Price Support Scheme.
