Industry Specific ComplianceThe Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) on December 29, 2025, notified the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Appliance Labeling and Compliance) Regulations, 2026.

The following has been stated: -

•Regulation 2 lays down various definitions of terms like endorsement label and label series.

•Chapter II specifies Appliance Labelling and Registration.

•Chapter III specifies Labelling Compliance and Enforcement.

These regulations shall come into force on January 01, 2026.
