Commercial ComplianceThe Ministry of Commerce & Industry (MoCI) on December 31, 2025, notified regarding the launch of Market Access Support Intervention under Export Promotion Mission to Strengthen Global Market Access for Indian Exporters.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The Government of India has launched the Market Access Support (MAS) Intervention under the Export Promotion Mission (EPM), approved by the Union Cabinet on November 12, 2025, to enhance international market access for Indian exporters, especially MSMEs, first-time exporters, and priority sectors.

• Implemented under the NIRYAT DISHA sub-scheme, the intervention provides structured support for buyer-seller meets, international trade fairs, reverse buyer-seller meets, and trade delegations to key export markets.

• A 3–5 year advance calendar of market access events will be prepared to ensure continuity and better planning, with at least 35% MSME participation mandated and special focus on new geographies.

• The scheme rationalises financial support ceilings, offers partial airfare support to small exporters, and digitises all processes through trade.gov.in for transparency and monitoring.

• Mandatory feedback, outcome tracking, and upcoming components such as proof-of-concept and product demonstrations aim to strengthen buyer engagement and drive sustained export growth.
