The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on January 01, 2026, issued reminder to Conduct of Practical Examinations/Project/Internal Assessment Classes X & XII-2025-26.
In continuation of CBSE Circular dated 01/12/2025, schools are informed that the Annual Practical Examinations / Internal Assessment / Project work for Classes X and XII (Session 2025–26) will commence from 1 January 2026. Schools must ensure timely and smooth conduct of these assessments by taking the following actions:
• Confirm receipt of an adequate number of practical answer books; contact the concerned Regional Office if there are any issues.
• Inform students and parents about the practical/project/internal assessment schedule and CBSE instructions.
• Ensure laboratories and facilities are fully prepared with required infrastructure, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate in advance with CBSE-appointed External Examiners for smooth conduct of examinations.
• Make appropriate arrangements for Children with Special Needs (CWSN) to ensure comfortable participation.
