The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), on December 31, 2025, issued a notification extending the validity of the Minimum Export Price (MEP) condition on the export of Natural Honey under ITC(HS) Code 04090000, in exercise of powers under the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 and the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023.
Through this amendment to Notification No. 27/2025-26 dated August 22, 2025, the Central Government has decided to continue the existing MEP requirement. Accordingly, exports of Natural Honey, which are otherwise under the “Free” export policy, shall remain subject to a Minimum Export Price of USD 1400 FOB per Metric Ton.
The notification takes immediate effect and the revised validity of the MEP has now been extended up to March 31, 2026, ensuring continuity in export regulation and price stability for Natural Honey exports.
