Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on January 01, 2025, issued a circular regarding the applicability of Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) related to Barley and Castor Oil.

The following has been stated: -

•NCDEX has re-triggered Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) of 2.5% based on high–low price variation.

•The E-ASM applies to all running and yet-to-be-launched contracts in Guar Seed, Guar Gum, and Turmeric.

•This additional margin will remain in force up to January 22, 2026, while other applicable margins continue unchanged.
