The Government of Punjab, on December 30, 2025, issued the Punjab Land Revenue (Amendment) Bill, 2025, to further amend the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887.
The following amendment has been stated namely:-
• In section 13, sub-section (1), in the proviso, for clause (iii), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:- (iii) no order of remand shall be passed by the appellate authority;"; and
• In section 13, sub-section (1), in the proviso, Explanation under clause (iv) shall be omitted.
• In section 15, sub-section (1), in the proviso, clause (c), at the end, the word "and" shall be omitted; and
• In section 15, sub-section (1), in the proviso, clause (d), at the end, for the sign ".", the sign and word "; and" shall be substituted and thereafter, the following clause shall be added, namely:- "(e) no review shall lie against any interim order."
