The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE), on January 02, 2026, issued a circular informing all trading members about the submission of half-yearly reporting for the usage of Software as a Service (SaaS) based solutions/applications, in line with SEBI Circular dated November 03, 2020 on advisory for financial sector organizations using SaaS-based solutions.
Trading members who are availing or utilizing SaaS-based solutions are required to submit their compliance report for the half-yearly period from July 01, 2025 to December 31, 2025. For this purpose, NSE has enabled an online submission facility through the Member Portal (Inspection → SaaS → Submit SaaS Report). The report must be submitted on or before January 31, 2026. Members not using any SaaS services must select the ‘NO’ option and provide appropriate remarks.
NSE has further clarified that, as per its earlier circular dated September 29, 2025, SaaS submissions of trading members who are also registered with other exchanges such as BSE, MSEI, MCX, or NCDEX will be shared with those exchanges. Detailed submission guidelines are provided in the User Manual (Annexure-A) attached to the circular.
