The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on January 02, 2026, issued a circular regarding the Suspension of the Procurement of Cetuximab Injections under DG-ESIC RC.
The following has been stated: -
•All procurement authorities are directed not to place supply orders on M/s Merck Specialities Pvt. Ltd. for Cetuximab injections (100 mg and 500 mg) under the valid DG-ESIC Rate Contract until further orders.
•As these items are being procured through Custom Bids on the GeM portal, procurement shall be made only through GeM.
•Procurement through the DG-ESIC Rate Contract is to remain on hold with immediate effect.
