The following has been stated: -
•The Government of Maharashtra has issued an order remitting all stamp duty on specific loan-related documents executed by farmers.
•This waiver applies to agricultural or crop loans up to a maximum amount of ₹2,00,000.
•The exemption covers various instruments, including mortgage deeds, cash credit agreements, and letters of guarantee.
•This policy is effective from January 01, 2026, and will remain in force until further orders are issued
