Industry Specific ComplianceThe Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) on October 17, 2025, issued a circular regarding the discontinuation of the Aadhaar Hologram on the Aadhaar PVC Card.

The following has been stated: -

•UIDAI has decided to discontinue the use of the Aadhaar hologram on Aadhaar PVC Cards.

•Henceforth, Aadhaar PVC Cards issued through the Order Aadhaar PVC Card service will be provided without a hologram.
