Commercial ComplianceThe Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on December 31, 2025, notified regarding the launch of Market Access Support (MAS) under Export Promotion Mission - Niryat Disha.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The MAS initiative aims to strengthen India’s export market access by providing structured support for activities such as Buyer-Seller Meets (BSMs), Reverse Buyer-Seller Meets (RBSMs), international trade fairs, exhibitions, and other market access initiatives. 

• The component is being operationalised on a pilot basis to enable early implementation and encourage active participation from stakeholders. Implementation will be carried out through the Trade Connect e-Platform, ensuring transparency, traceability, and ease of access. 

• Eligible Organising Agencies, including Export Promotion Councils (EPCs), are required to submit proposals and manage event participation strictly in accordance with the detailed MAS Guidelines annexed to the notice. 

• The notice also prescribes a mandatory digital registration and administrator authorisation process on the Trade Connect platform to ensure proper monitoring, audit trail, and effective execution of MAS-supported activities.
