The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on January 02, 2026, issued an update on the single-filing system through API-based integration between Stock Exchanges.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The stock exchanges have informed listed entities that the Single Filing System through API-based integration has been extended to Integrated Filing (Financials) under Regulation 33 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, with effect from January 03, 2026.
• Under this system, listed entities are required to submit disclosures only once, and the filing will be automatically shared across exchanges, thereby eliminating duplicate submissions.
• The API-based single filing framework now covers key disclosures including Integrated Filing (Financials) under Regulations 33(3), 23(9), 32(1) and Regulation 30, Annual Secretarial Compliance Report (Regulation 24A), Integrated Filing (Governance), shareholder meeting and voting results (Regulation 44), Reconciliation of Share Capital Audit Report (Regulation 76), and Investor Grievance Report.
• At present, the facility applies to equity-listed and equity-plus-debt listed entities, while applicability for exclusively debt-listed entities, REITs, and InvITs will be communicated separately.
• Listed entities have been advised to avoid multiple filings of the same disclosure on different exchanges and to respond to post-submission queries only to the exchange that raises the clarification, ensuring streamlined compliance and efficient regulatory reporting.
