The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoAFW) on December 31, 2025, issued the amendment to notification no. 2128 (E) regarding the Rice Seed Varieties.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Against, serial number 2, under column (3), for the entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely, “Sabour Mashuri Dhan (BRR 2141) (IET 28489)”
• Against, serial number 3, under column (3), for the entry, the following entry, shall be substituted namely, “Sabour Kunwar Dhan (BRR 2176) (IET 29140)”
• Against, serial number 40, under column (4), after the words Rajasthan, the words “Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Assam, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh” shall be inserted
• Against, serial number 43, under column (4), after the words West Bengal, the word “Assam” shall be inserted.
