The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on January 02, 2026, issued the date of establishment of amendment of certain Indian Standards (IS).
The amendment of the following IS have been established on December 29, 2025 namely: -
• IS 737 : 2024 Wrought Aluminium and Aluminium Alloy Sheet and Strip for General Engineering Purposes — Specification (Fifth Revision) - Amendment No. 1 December 2025
• IS 13630 (Part 15) : 2019 Ceramic Tiles — Methods of Test, Sampling and Basis for Acceptance - Amendment No. 1 December 2025
• IS 15477 : 2019 Adhesives for Use with Ceramic, Mosaic and Stone Tiles — Specification (First Revision) - Amendment No. 2 December 2025
• IS 15658 : 2021 Concrete Paving Blocks — Specification (First Revision) - Amendment No. 2 December 2025
• IS 18894 : 2024 Precast Concrete Paving Grids and Grass Pavers — Specification - Amendment No. 1 December 2025
The IS shall be in force without the amendment till June 28, 2026
