Labour Compliance The Government of Puducherry, on December 09, 2025, issued a notification regarding CPI for DA calculation under the Minimum Wages Act.

The following has been stated: -

•The Puducherry Competent Authority has notified Consumer Price Index (CPI) points for Industrial Workers for Dearness Allowance calculation.

•The CPI (Base Year 2001=100) stood at 335 in 2021–22 and increased to 366 in 2022–23.

•It further rose to 388 in 2023–24 and 426 in 2024–25. For 2025–26, the CPI has been fixed at 457.
