Labour ComplianceThe Government of Andhra Pradesh, on November 03, 2025, issued a notification regarding revised minimum wages and Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) for contract labour.

The following has been stated: -

•The Government of Andhra Pradesh has notified revised minimum wages and Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) for contract labour under Rule 25(v)(b) of the AP Contract Labour (R&A) Rules, 1971.

•The wages are linked to 847 CPI points, with CPI rising to 1886 as of October 01, 2025, resulting in 1039 VDA points payable for the period October 01, 2025, to March 31, 2026.

•Revised total wages have been specified for Highly Skilled, Skilled, Semi-Skilled, Unskilled, and Office Staff categories based on basic wages plus VDA.

•The notification was originally issued vide G.O. Ms. No. 11 dated January 17, 2012, and reaffirmed by the Commissioner of Labour under LAE03/335/2025-G-LBRCOMR.
