The Labour Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, on December 22, 2025, issued a notification regarding an advisory on Employee Attendance & Pollution Mitigation.
The following has been stated: -
•The Labour Department, GNCTD, issued advisories on December 17, 2025, and December 22, 2025, to limit employee attendance to 50%, stagger office hours, and provide shared transport to reduce pollution impact.
•All JLCs/DLCs, the Director (Industrial Safety & Health), and the Electrical Inspector are instructed to hold meetings with employers and market associations in their jurisdictions.
•The objective is to sensitize employers about compliance with the advisories.
Weekly Action Taken Reports and employer compliance details must be submitted every Friday.
