Industry Specific Compliance The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on January 06, 2026, notified regarding the Policy on the timeline for compliance with FSS Regulations.

It states that in its 48th Meeting, the Food Authority decided that all amendments related to the FSS (Labelling and Display) Regulations, and any labelling changes under other FSS regulations, will come into force on July 01, with a minimum transition period of 365 days from the date of notification.
