The Electricity Department, Andaman & Nicobar Administration on December 30, 2025, notified regarding the revised Retail Electricity Tariff for Andaman & Nicobar Islands (FY 2025–26 to FY 2029–30) approved by JERC.
The Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC) has approved the Retail Electricity Tariff for the 4th Control Period (FY 2025–26 to FY 2029–30) for the Andaman & Nicobar Islands through its Tariff Order dated 28.10.2025 under Petition No. 151/2025. The revised tariff has come into force with effect from November 01, 2025.
The revision introduces uniform consumer categories and sub-categories based on factors such as usage pattern, voltage level, contracted load, consumption, and supply conditions, applicable across all utilities under JERC’s jurisdiction.
