The Labour Department, Madhya Pradesh, on January 05, 2026, issued the Draft Madhya Pradesh Code on Wages Rules, 2026.
The following has been stated: -
•Rule 2 lays down various definitions of the terms like Appeal and Appellate Authority.
•Rule 3 specifies the Manner of calculating the minimum rate of wages.
•Rule 4 specifies Norms for the fixation of the minimum rate of wages.
•Rule 5 specifies the Time Interval for revision of Dearness Allowance.
Objections and suggestions, if any, may be sent within 45 days from January 05, 2026.
