The Government of Bihar on December 19, 2025, issued the Bihar Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Rules, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• They extend to whole of the State of Bihar.
• The Manner of submitting application and the form of such application and the particulars to be contained therein and the fees to be accompanied therewith and late fee has been stated.
• The Duties of Employer and Employee has been stated in the Rules.
• The Hours of Work and Annual Leave with Wages has been stated in the Rules.
• The rules in respect of factory or class or description of factories has been stated.
They shall come into force from the date that The Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 comes into effect.
