The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), on January 06, 2026, issued the date of the establishment of Indian standards particulars related to various Milk Powder.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the dates of establishment shall be December 15, 2025 and the Date till which the standard is without the amendment shall be June 14, 2026:-
• IS 1000: 2021 - Edible Lactose — Specification (Second Revision) - Amendment No. 1 December 2025.
• IS 1165: 2022 - Whole Milk Powder — Specification (Sixth Revision) - Amendment No. 1 December 2025.
• IS 1166: 2022 - Sweetened Condensed Milk, Sweetened Condensed Partly Skimmed Milk, Sweetened Condensed Skimmed Milk and Sweetened Condensed High Fat Milk — Specification (Third Revision) - Amendment No. 1 December 2025.
• IS 1167: 2021 - Edible Casein Products — Specification (Second Revision) - Amendment No. 1 December 2025.
• IS 1656: 2022 - Infant Food — Milk-Cereal Based Complementary Foods — Specification (Fifth Revision) - Amendment No. 2 December 2025.
