The Government of Tripura, on December 01, 2025, issued a notification regarding Holidays for the Industrial Undertakings during the year 2026.
The following has been stated: -
•The Governor of Tripura has declared 27 closed holidays for Government industrial undertakings under the Factories Act, 1948, during the calendar year 2026.
•Holidays cover major national, religious, and regional festivals, including Republic Day (January 26, 2026), Independence Day (August 15, 2026), Durga Puja (October 17–21, 2026), and Diwali (November 09, 2026).
•Some festivals coincide with holidays, including May Day on May 01, 2026 (Buddha Purnima) and Maha Saptami on October 17–18, 2026 (Saturday–Sunday).
