The Multi-Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on January 07, 2026, notified regarding the Stream and Partition Change Due to Product Movement between Partitions.
The Exchange has informed members that products may be shifted from one partition to another to optimize system performance and manage data streams. Members are advised to make necessary system-level arrangements to accommodate such changes at short notice, with details of product movement being updated in the product master file (Mcxscrip.bcp). Any existing GTD or GTC orders for the affected products will be cancelled, for which the Exchange will issue a separate circular. Members subscribed to EMDI and/or EOBI market data are required to subscribe to all streams, as stream-related changes will be reflected in the Stream Master available on the MCX SFTP. There will be no changes to the MDI and ETI APIs.
