The Government of Nagaland on November 24, 2025, issued the list of closed holidays for 2026 for the central government offices.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The list covers national holidays, state-specific festivals, and important religious and cultural occasions, ensuring uniform observance across offices.
• These declared holidays will be treated as closed holidays, subject to exceptions for essential services where required, and are intended to facilitate administrative planning and leave management for government establishments throughout 2026.
