The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), on January 09, 2026, issued a notice announcing a trading holiday in specific market segments on account of the Municipal Corporation Elections in Maharashtra.
In partial modification of its earlier notice dated December 23, 2025, BSE has informed that the Exchange will remain closed on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Consequently, there will be no trading, reporting, or settlement activities in the Currency Derivatives Segment (including Currency Derivatives and Interest Rate Derivatives products), New Debt Segment – Reporting, Settlement and Trading (NDS-RST), and Tri Party Repo Segments on that day.
Trading members have been advised to take note of the revised trading schedule and ensure necessary operational arrangements in line with the declared holiday due to the State municipal elections.
