The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL), on January 09, 2026, issued a communiqué to all Depository Participants (DPs) informing them of amendments to DP Operating Instructions 17.1, which deal with the computation of net worth of DPs and the manner of submission of the Net Worth Certificate and Audited Financial Statements (AFS).
The amendments have been formally incorporated into the operating instructions, and the revised provisions have been circulated as Annexure-A, with changes highlighted in track-changes mode for ease of reference. These revisions are intended to bring greater clarity and consistency in regulatory compliance by DPs.
All Depository Participants have been advised to take note of the amended provisions and ensure strict compliance with the updated requirements within the prescribed timelines.
