The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), on January 08, 2026, issued an Office Memorandum through its Apprenticeship Training Division regarding the standardisation of timelines and process flow for apprenticeship contract signing, advisor verification, and payroll creation on the Apprenticeship Portal.
The Ministry has clarified that the timelines and procedural provisions prescribed in its earlier Office Memorandum dated 31 December 2025 shall be kept on hold for the time being. These revised timelines and processes will now become effective from 1 April 2026.
Until the said date, stakeholders have been advised to continue following the existing timelines and process provisions for apprenticeship contracts and payroll-related activities to ensure uninterrupted implementation.
