Secretarial ComplianceThe Clearing Corporation of India Limited (CCIL) on January 09, 2026, issued a notification regarding declaration of a public holiday.

The following has been stated: -

•The Government of Maharashtra has declared January 15, 2026, a public holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

•Accordingly, CCIL will observe the day as a non-business and settlement holiday for all payment systems.

•All settlements due on January 15, 2026, will be handled as per holiday/sudden event provisions and settled on January 16, 2026.

•Clearcorp will also observe the day as a trading holiday across all its electronic dealing platforms.
