The Central KYC Records Registry (CKYCRR) on January 08, 2026, issued a notification regarding the introduction of mobile-based KYC search.
The following has been stated: -
•CKYCRR has added a new feature enabling reporting entities to search Individual KYC records using the registered mobile number.
•The search is available across API, bulk, and screen channels, with masked mobile numbers shown in results.
•In bulk downloads, mobile number will no longer be used as an authentication factor since it is now a search criterion.
•The feature is live in the test environment and will go live on January 19, 2026, at 8:00 PM, with updated documents available on the CKYCRR website.
