Secretarial ComplianceThe Multi-Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on January 09, 2025, issued a circular regarding the introduction of an additional Service Provider for Point-to-Point Leased Line Connectivity.

The following has been stated: -

•MCX has empanelled Bharti Airtel Limited to provide higher bandwidth point-to-point (P2P) leased line connectivity up to 500 Mbps.

•Members may obtain connectivity either through the Exchange or directly from Airtel, with specified one-time and annual recurring charges.

•High-capacity 300 Mbps and 500 Mbps links are permitted only for Tick-by-Tick (TBT) services, and Mumbai-region charges are predefined.

•Applicable port charges to the Exchange remain common for both options, while other terms continue as per the earlier circular.
