The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on January 06, 2026, issued the date of establishment of amendment to certain Indian Standards (IS).
The amendment of the following IS have been established on December 18, 2025 namely: -
• IS 17362 (Part 5) : 2020 ISO 9902-5 : 2001 Textile Machinery — Noise Test Code Part 5 Weaving and Knitting Preparatory Machinery - Amendment No. 1 December 2025
• IS 17427 : 2020 Wooden ( Timber ) Pallets for Packaging, Storage and Transportation — Specification - Amendment No. 5 December 2025
• IS 18158 : 2023 Textile Floor Covering — Artificial Grass Carpet made of Synthetic Yarn for Landscape — Specification - Amendment No. 1 December 2025
The standards shall stay in force without the amendment till June 17, 2026
