Commercial Compliance The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on January 06, 2026, issued the date of establishment and withdrawal of certain Indian Standards (IS).

The following IS have been withdrawn on December 18, 2025 namely: -

• IS 7576 – 1974 Specification for Bunched Enamelled Copper Wires with Silk Covering

• IS 15999 (Part 26) : 2016 IEC 60034-26 : 2006 Rotating Electrical Machines Part 26 Effects of Unbalanced Voltages on the Performance of Three-Phase Cage Induction Motors
