The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) on January 06, 2026, issued the Boiler Attendants’ (Amendment) Rules, 2026, to further amend the Boiler Attendants’ Rules, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In Form C, for the brackets, words and figures “(not exceeding 150 square meters in aggregate of total heating surface), provided he is assisted the number of fireman”, the following brackets, words and figures shall be substituted, namely: -
“(not exceeding 200 square meters in aggregate of total heating surface), provided that such boilers shall be situated within a radius of thirty meters in the same premises and belong to one owner and further provided that he is assisted by the number of fireman”
This shall come into force on January 06, 2026.
