Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on January 09, 2026, notified regarding the introduction of the New Order & Trade Drop Copy Facility in the CM Segment.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The Exchange has introduced a new Order & Trade Drop Copy facility in the Capital Market (CM) segment to enhance trading efficiency, reliability, and customization for members. Under this facility, members can choose to receive either trade data or both order and trade data in real-time, with connectivity provided through designated IP addresses and ports at the Primary (BKC) and DR sites. 

• The facility will be available for testing during the mock session on January 10, 2026, and will go live from January 12, 2026. An interim coexistence period will be provided during which both the existing Trade Drop Copy and the new facility will operate in parallel, after which the existing Trade Drop Copy will be discontinued on a date to be notified separately. 

• Members are required to connect using TLS 1.3 and download the CA certificate from the Exchange extranet (valid up to March 31, 2027), which will be available from January 09, 2026, 7:00 PM onwards, while existing trading user credentials will continue to be used for accessing the Drop Copy gateway.
