Industry Specific Compliance The National Medical Commission (NMC) on January 08, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Clarification on Recognition of MBBS seats in Medical Education Institutions/Colleges.

The following has been stated namely: -

• All the Medical Colleges/Institutions teaching MBBS are advised not to send proposals for recognition of MBBS seats.

• The medical colleges are mandated to submit the Annual Disclosure Report, along with requisite fee (online), in respect of MBBS Course, on the designated NMC’s portal as and when called for.
