The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) on December 23, 2025, issued a notification regarding Annual Return Filing by registered PIBOs and PWPs for FY 2024-25.
The following has been stated: -
•The original deadlines for filing Annual Returns were April 30, 2025 (PWPs) and June 30, 2025 (PIBOs), and were later extended to November 30, 2025.
•In line with the MoEF&CC Office Memorandum dated December 20, 2025, the Central Government has further extended the timeline.
•As a special case, registered PIBOs and PWPs may file Annual Returns for FY 2024–25 on the EPR portal up to January 31, 2026.
•Non-compliance after this date may attract Environmental Compensation, while the notice does not apply to entities that have already filed returns.
