The Social Justice, Empowerment, Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes and Antyodaya (Sewa) Department, Govt. of Haryana on January 08, 2026, issued the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• This scheme shall come into operation from January 01, 2026.
• It aims to promote women's empowerment by strengthening financial independence and providing social security, thereby fostering their overall well-being and societal participation.
• Under the scheme, eligible women aged 23 years and above from economically weaker families will receive financial assistance of ₹2,100 per month, partly credited to their bank account and partly deposited in a government-managed RD/FD to encourage long-term savings.
• Eligibility is based on income, domicile, and social parameters, with additional incentives linked to children’s education, nutrition, and learning outcomes.
• The scheme will be implemented through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) using a dedicated Lado Lakshmi App, with provisions for verification, grievance redressal, monitoring, and strict recovery mechanisms in case of wrongful claims.
