Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) notified on January 12, 2026, regarding a trading holiday due to the Municipal Corporation Elections in Maharashtra 2026.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Trading Members are requested to note that on account of the Municipal Corporation Election scheduled to be held on January 15, 2026, the following trading segments will remain closed on January 15, 2026. 

o Equity Segment

o Equity Derivatives Segment

o Commodity Derivatives Segment

o Electronic Gold Receipts

• Equity Derivatives contracts originally scheduled to expire on January 15, 2026, will now expire on January 14, 2026, and this change will be reflected in the end-of-day contract master files. 

• Additionally, the Commodity Derivatives segment will be open for trading only during the evening session from 5:00 PM to 11:55 PM, remaining closed in the morning session. 

• The Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR) segment will also operate exclusively in the evening, from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with no trading during the morning session.
