The Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) on January 08, 2026, notified regarding the implementation of minimum wages applicable in the state of Punjab from March 01, 2025, in PSPCL.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It has notified the implementation of revised minimum wages in the State of Punjab in accordance with the Notification dated December 24, 2025, issued by the Labour Commissioner, Punjab, under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948.
• The revised minimum wage rates for unskilled and other categories of workers are applicable with effect from March 01, 2025, in PSPCL.
• All concerned offices have been directed to ensure strict compliance with the revised rates while keeping in view the earlier instructions issued by PSPCL vide letter dated June 10, 2025, and to implement the wages uniformly for eligible categories of workers.
