The Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX), on January 12, 2026, issued a circular informing its members about trading arrangements on January 15, 2026, in view of the Municipal Corporation Election in Maharashtra, in accordance with the Rules, Bye-Laws and Business Rules of the Exchange.
The Exchange shall remain closed for trading during the Morning Session from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM on the said date. However, the Evening Trading Session will remain open and trading shall be permitted from 05:00 PM to 11:55 PM, while trading in selected agricultural commodities will be available up to 09:00 PM only.
Members of the Exchange have been advised to take note of the revised trading hours and make necessary arrangements to ensure smooth trading operations during the evening session on the said day.
