The NSE Clearing Limited (NSE), on January 12, 2026, issued a circular notifying a transaction holiday under the Securities Lending & Borrowing Scheme (SLBS) in partial modification of its earlier circular dated December 12, 2025 and with reference to the Exchange circular issued on the same date.
In view of the Municipal Corporation Election in Maharashtra, Wednesday, January 15, 2026, has been declared as a transaction holiday for SLBS. Accordingly, no SLBS transactions shall be processed by NSE Clearing Limited on the said date.
All participants and custodians are advised to take note of this announcement and make necessary operational and compliance arrangements in line with the declared transaction holiday.
